DIY Air Conditioning Recharge
Model: BMW Serie 3
E46
- Years 1998-2006
If adjusting the temperature of the air conditioner to the minimum still results in uncooled air, it is possible that the amount of refrigerant in the system has decreased (this indicates a potential leak issue, and it is advisable to perform a vacuum test with the appropriate equipment and then a traditional refrigerant recharge). Instead of getting a regular recharge at a specialized center, you can top off the system using a small cylinder containing the specific refrigerant and the fitting to connect to the low-pressure service port (which is the smaller diameter port). Remove the protective cap from the refrigerant inlet valve, connect the fitting from the cylinder, and press the handle to allow the refrigerant to enter: perform this operation with the engine running and the air conditioner set to maximum.

How to Remove the Front Shock Absorber on a Peugeot 406
How to remove the front shock absorber on a Peugeot 406? The first step is to lift the bonnet and secure it with the prop rod. Use a socket wrench to unscrew the shock absorber mounting bolts (engine bay), lift the car on a column lift and remove the front wheel. Unscrew the shock absorber mounting bolts at the wheel hub (detach the brake line clips with a screwdriver). Unscrew the bolts on the side, then remove the shock absorber from its housing (place a support under the bar). Compare the old part with the new one and prepare for installation. Fit the new shock absorber to the car, working in reverse order. by ScegliAuto More videos
