In this tutorial, you will see how to remove the air conditioner compressor in the BMW 3 Series F30, a simple task if you have good manual skills. First, wait until the engine is cool enough, then open the hood and remove the air filter housing.

Next, grab the tensioner with a long wrench, loosen it, and detach the belt. At this point, you can disconnect the compressor's outlet hose, remove the corresponding mounting bolts, and take it out of the housing.

To install the replacement, simply follow the reverse procedure.
