In this tutorial, we can see how to disassemble the air conditioning compressor in the BMW 3 Series F30, a simple operation if you have good manual dexterity. First of all, we wait for the engine to cool down sufficiently, then we open the hood and remove the air filter box. We then grab the tensioner with a long wrench, loosen it, and release the belt. At this point, we can disconnect the output tube of the compressor, unscrew the respective fixing bolts, and remove it from the housing. To install the replacement, simply follow the reverse procedure.
