How to Remove Fog Lights Integrated into the Bumper

Model: BMW Serie 5 E39 - Years 1995-2003

To remove the fog lights integrated into the bumper, pry with a flat blade tool on the clips and remove a section of the lower grille adjacent to the fog lights. Now, unscrew the side screws of the headlight assemblies. Then, pull the headlight outward, moving it to the right since the headlight is secured on one side with the screws you just removed and on the other with a pin inserted into the housing. If you need to replace the headlight, simply disconnect the electrical connector. If the issue is the bulb that needs replacing, then you must release the clip as shown and open the headlight to replace the bulb.
