Instructions for Removing the Car Radio

Model: BMW Serie 6 E64, E63 - Years 2003-2011

To remove the CD and DVD reading unit of the car radio and navigation system located at the bottom of the central console, proceed as follows: extract the buttons (hazard lights and door lock) located at the centre of the two air vents, unscrew the screw underneath and remove the air vents; then unscrew the fixing screws of the climate control unit and pull it out along with the CD DVD reader frame. At this point, you can unscrew the relevant fixing screws of this unit and complete its removal.
