How to replace the remote battery on a BMW 1 Series?

Model: BMW Serie 1 MK 2, F20, F21 - Years 2011-2019

To replace the battery in the remote for a BMW 1 Series, press the button located at the bottom of the device to extract the key and its cover. Once these parts are removed, use a tool to pry inside the key housing to detach the cover from the back of the remote. Underneath, you will find the battery, which can be removed from its housing and replaced with a new spare part. After replacing the battery, reattach the back cover and insert the key.
