In this video tutorial, you will see how to replace the cabin air filter on a BMW 5 Series E60 by following a few simple steps: the first thing to do is to purchase a new cabin air filter. Next, get inside the vehicle, turn off the car, and engage the parking brake.

The cabin air filter on this vehicle is located in the engine compartment, under the windshield; using a 13 mm socket wrench, remove the fasteners of the filter box; lift the cover of the box and remove the filter element from its housing. Install the new filter following the arrows on the new filter.
