How to Remove the Steering Wheel Airbag from a BMW 3 Series?

To remove the steering wheel airbag from a BMW 3 Series, loosen its internal retaining clips. Insert an object like a screwdriver into the holes located at the back of the steering wheel, directly behind the two horizontal spokes. Once these clips are disengaged, the airbag can be pulled out from its housing, and you can disconnect the connector at the back. After the old airbag is removed, connect the new one, ensuring it is secured with its internal clips.
