Video tutorial

This video tutorial explains the procedure for removing the airbag from the steering wheel of a BMW 7 Series. The first step is to release the four clips that hold the front part of the steering wheel in place.

After extracting it, turn the steering wheel clockwise and keep it in the same position shown in the video. By inserting a screwdriver into the side hole, you can move the internal supports that hold the part containing the airbag.

The airbag cable is the one with the yellow connector; to disconnect it, detach it from the other terminal located at the bottom of the steering wheel's central hub.

Once unlocked, tilt the seat upwards and forwards to remove it from its position. Repeat this process for both sides of the rear seat. Be careful of any electrical cables or components that may be connected to the seat during removal. Once the rear seat is removed, the disassembly is complete.
