Replacing a Car Door Handle

Changing the door handle on your car can be done by yourself, without needing to go to a body shop. Car door handles are designed not only to open the door but also for passenger safety, allowing them to exit the vehicle in case of an accident.

Usually, the screws that secure the handle are easy to remove. First, remove the inner door panel and the screws securing the plastic inner cover.

Once all screws are removed, take off the door cover and observe the handle mechanism, which will be secured with screws inside the door. Unscrew and remove it to complete the job.
