Mass Air Flow Sensor Disassembly Instructions

The mass air flow (MAF) sensor, also known as the air flow meter, is located at the outlet of the engine air filter box and measures the amount of air entering the engine's intake: this is a crucial parameter for the engine's proper efficiency, both in terms of performance and fuel consumption; disassembling this sensor is extremely simple, just disconnect the power connector, loosen the clamp securing the intake duct hose, and unclip the metal tabs that hold the sensor to the filter box (possibly removing the filter box itself).
