How to Replace the Remote Battery of the BMW 1 Series?

To replace the remote battery of the BMW 1 Series, press the button located at the top of the device to release the emergency key from inside. Once the key is removed, lever it out of its housing by opening the two halves of the remote. You can then remove the battery inside and replace it with a new spare part.
