How to Replace the Fuel Filter on a BMW 1 Series

In this video tutorial, we can see how to replace the fuel filter on a BMW 1 Series by following a few simple steps: first, purchase a new fuel filter; next, get inside the vehicle, turn off the engine, pull the handbrake, and lift the car either with a mobile lift or a hydraulic jack and place support stands. Prepare a container to place under the fuel filter to collect the fuel when it spills out. Remove the filter cover; once the cover is off, check that the new filter is suitable for replacement. Remove the clip from the filter, disconnect the fuel injector; be ready with the container to catch any fuel that spills out. Loosen the metal clamp on the pipe, remove the support bolt, and drain the filter, disconnect the fuel pipe and replace the old filter with the new one.
