To replace the fuel pump on a BMW 3 Series E92, remove the rear seat to access the components underneath. This will allow you to detach the circular cover protecting the pump by loosening the appropriate mounting screws.

Once this cover is removed, you can pull the pump out of its housing, disconnecting the necessary hoses and wires. At this point, insert the new pump and cover everything by reinstalling the circular cover and the rear seat.
