How to Replace Your Car Door

Instead of going to a body shop, if you need to replace your car door, you can do it yourself. To replace the car door, go to a junkyard with the model and series of your vehicle. Check the condition of the replacement part and finalize the deal. Then, remove the damaged door, taking off the plastic parts from the inner side. Also, remove the rearview mirror along with any electrical connections. Disconnect the windows and central locking from the junction boxes. At this point, unscrew the door hinges. Work carefully to avoid "marring" the heads of the fastening bolts.
