How to change the battery of the remote control for the BMW 1 Series.

In this video, we are shown step by step how to replace the battery of a BMW 1 Series key. The procedure takes a few seconds to complete, and you will only need a small flathead screwdriver and a CR2450 battery. To replace the battery, first flip the key over, then press the button located at the bottom to remove the emergency key. Once the key is removed, use the flathead screwdriver to pry at the designated pressure point in the key insertion area of the emergency key, lift to remove the battery cover. Once removed, use the screwdriver to pry out the battery and remove it. Insert the new battery and then close the key by applying pressure with your hands, and finally reinsert the emergency key into its slot.
