How to Reset the Automatic Transmission Control Unit in a BMW?

In this tutorial, you will learn how to reset the automatic transmission control unit in a BMW, a very simple and quick operation to perform in case of malfunction or after a change of ownership. First, enter the cabin and turn on the instrument panel without starting the engine. Press the accelerator pedal fully and hold it for at least 30 seconds, then release it and turn off the vehicle. Start the engine afterwards and check if the problem is resolved; if not, take the car to an official BMW workshop.
