How to reset the oil light on the 2018 Cadillac XT5

In today's article, we are going to show you how to reset the oil light on the Cadillac XT5. This operation will take less than 1 minute and no tools are needed. To reset the light, you need to turn on the ignition without starting the engine, then press the SEL button on the right side of the steering wheel to access the menu. Use the down arrow button to navigate to the OPTIONS section, once there, press the left button and then use the up or down button to find the OIL LIFE option. Once you find the light, press the SEL button and hold it until the light is reset and shows 100%. You can then release the button and restart the ignition to verify that the procedure was successful.
