In this video, you can see how to reset the service light on a Cadillac XTS. Make sure the car doors are closed and turn on the ignition without starting the engine. Use the buttons located on the right side of the steering wheel, specifically the rectangular directional button for right/left.

Press the right arrow, and you will see a menu highlighted in red; lift the button upward to find the oil life, which is displayed as a percentage. Now, press and hold this same button for five seconds until it resets, showing the remaining life as 100%; it will also emit a beeping sound.
