Engine Oil and Filter Replacement

Model: Chevrolet Camaro MK 4 - Years 1993-2002

To facilitate the oil drainage from the sump, lift the vehicle on a hydraulic lift or suitable car ramps. Then, unscrew the drain plug located on the side of the oil sump, near the exhaust pipe. Once the draining is complete, tighten the plug. Next, replace the oil filter located at the front of the engine, near the air conditioning compressor pulley: before screwing in the new filter, apply oil to the gasket. Finally, fill the engine with new oil according to the quantities and SAE specifications stated in the owner's manual.
