How to Perform a Service on a Chevrolet Trax

In this video tutorial, we can see how to perform a service on a Chevrolet Trax: the first step is to lift the bonnet and secure it with the appropriate prop. Raise the vehicle with a hydraulic jack and place safety stands under the vehicle; now, you need a Torx T45 socket to unscrew the oil drain plug; position a container for the used oil under the oil sump; while waiting for all the oil to drain, replace the air filter by disconnecting the mass airflow sensor connector, unscrewing the two screws to remove the airbox; at this point, replace the old air filter with the new one. For the oil filter, you will need a 32mm socket; the filter is located behind the engine, so unscrew it with the socket and extension, continue unscrewing by hand, and then remove it from its housing. Next, replace the old oil filter with the new one, ensuring to replace the seals as well. Screw the oil drain plug back in, lower the vehicle, and top up with new oil using a funnel.
