Chrysler Pt Cruiser - Video tutorial

Model: Chrysler Pt Cruiser MK 1 - Years 2000-2010
Part: V-belt
Operation: Auxiliary belt replacement

On the car in question there are two auxiliary belts: one dedicated only to the alternator and the other for the air conditioning compressor and water pump. To facilitate replacement, lift the car on a lift and remove the protection placed on the pulleys; make a note of the passage of the belts on the various pulleys and proceed with disassembly: then train the tensioner of the outermost belt and remove it; to remove that of the alternator it is necessary to loosen the pins of the alternator. Then apply the innermost belt by putting it under tension through the alternator adjuster; then move on to the outermost one tensioned by the special tensioner.

How do I replace the Land Rover Evoque auxiliary battery?

In order to replace the auxiliary battery of the Land Rover Evoque, it is necessary to go inside the passenger compartment and remove the panel which is positioned immediately under the glovebox. The latter must be disconnected from its cables and the fixing screws must be loosened. The battery can then be replaced with a new one and the panel can be fixed again with its screws.
