Replacement of Front Discs and Pads

Model: Chrysler Pt Cruiser MK 1 - Years 2000-2010

To replace the front discs and pads, lift the vehicle on a hydraulic lift and remove the front wheel; then proceed to remove the brake caliper, take out the old pads, and complete the removal of the caliper support and the disc; clean the disc seat on the hub with a wire brush and apply some grease, also clean the caliper fixing pins and lubricate them, and remove the protective oil from the new disc before installing; then fit the caliper support, apply the new sliding shims, insert the new pads, retract the caliper piston, and secure it to the supports; finally, pump the brake pedal until it offers the correct resistance.
