In this video we see where the power steering fluid reservoir of the Citroen Berlingo is located: it is positioned on the front side of the hood, in front of the engine block, in a small dark-colored reservoir. For models produced up to 2010, a mineral fluid with Esso ATF D or Total Fluide AT42 specifications is recommended. The power steering fluid is an essential hydraulic component, which allows for a reduction in the effort required to turn the steering wheel, making driving more comfortable and safe: it should be regularly checked following the indications on the reservoir, possibly topping up with the correct fluid up to the maximum level indicated: a low level could indicate a leak in the system. A dark, impurity-laden fluid could indicate the need for a replacement, but there is no scheduled interval for replacing this fluid.
