How to replace the cabin fan of the Citroen C4 Cactus.

Let's see how it is possible to replace the cabin fan of the Citroen C4 Cactus without removing the entire dashboard. First, we disconnect the negative terminal of the battery for safety, then we adjust the steering wheel to maximize space and remove the lower cover of the steering wheel, then unlock it: underneath, there is a 13 mm bolt that secures the steering wheel to the shaft, which we will remove. It is advisable to remove the steering wheel, marking its position relative to the shaft for reassembly (but this is not necessary, although it provides much more space and visibility). Now we locate the air conditioning box, situated in the center behind the console, and the fan is located on one side of this compartment. We disconnect the electrical connector, unlock the bayonet lock ring, and extract the fan. We clean the housing and install the new one (which we found on auto-doc.it with the EAN code 8717613463130 for the price of 40.99 euros, with free delivery), securing it and reconnecting the electrical connector. If we have removed the steering wheel, we put it back in place; otherwise, we reattach the fastening bolt to the shaft and the lower cover of the steering wheel. We reconnect the battery, and we're done.
