The "Rest" Function of the Automatic Air Conditioning in the Citroen C4

In this video, we see that the "rest" mode in the Citroen C4 is an intelligent function that maintains ventilation in the cabin for a few minutes after the engine is turned off, utilising the residual heat from the engine or the air conditioning (if activated before shutdown). To activate it, ensure the air conditioning is on before turning off the engine; after shutdown, press the "rest" button on the climate panel (it will light up). Air will continue to circulate for 15/30 minutes, depending on the outside temperature and battery charge. It is ideal for short stops while waiting in the car; it uses residual energy without consuming fuel. For example, during a winter trip, press "rest" to keep the cabin warm while refuelling.
