How to Replace the EGR Valve on the Citroen C4 Diesel

Let's see how to replace the EGR valve on a Citroen C4 II diesel: open the bonnet and remove the engine cover, rotate the turbo air inlet duct, unclip the duct from the resonator by pressing on the tabs, disconnect the airflow meter connector; unscrew the two brake fluid reservoir screws (T20) and move it; disconnect the intake pipe by pressing it with a screwdriver, unscrew the two elastic supports of the airbox with a 13 mm spanner, and unscrew the three screws of the air filter flange to remove the airbox. Now we can see the EGR valve. Disconnect the electrical connector and remove the two T27 fastening screws, carefully remove the valve as it may be caked on: clean the duct of carbon deposits and replace the valve, which can be found on eBay with code 276304757834 for £64.33 with free delivery. Now reassemble the valve and then sequentially reattach all the components you previously removed.
