Cleaning the Diesel Particulate Filter on a Citroen C4

This video explains how to identify when the diesel particulate filter is dirty and how to clean it. After connecting a diagnostic tool for confirmation, the display will show the fault generated by the dirty filter, along with a message on the dashboard. Proceed to remove it by lifting the car and unscrewing the metal clamps that connect it to the engine and exhaust pipe. Once removed, it can be washed with a pressure washer, which is effective in loosening dirt both externally and internally, and finally rinsed with running water to remove any remaining residues. Once refitted, start the engine to check that the fault messages no longer appear.
