How to Replace the Front Brake Pads on a Citroen C4

In this tutorial, you will learn how to replace the front brake pads on a Citroen C4. First, turn off the car, pull the handbrake, and open the bonnet. Lift the bonnet and secure it in place with the appropriate rod; lift the front of the vehicle and remove the wheels by unscrewing the nuts, giving you complete access to the pads. Turn the wheel disc outward and insert a flat screwdriver into the outer end of the gap at the front of the caliper, lever with the screwdriver and pull towards you to release it, which will retract the piston. Using a 13 mm socket wrench, loosen the two bolts of the bracket and remove the caliper. Remove the pads by sliding them off the disc and clean the support with a wire brush. Take the new pads and before inserting them into the support, apply copper grease to the outer side. At this point, reassemble the caliper in its place and tighten the bracket bolts securely.
