How to change the front brake pads of a Citroen Picasso C4 II

In this video, we will see how to change the front brake pads on a Citroen C4 Picasso: we open the hood and the brake fluid cap, then lift the car at its front and remove the wheels. We insert a flathead screwdriver into the outer end of the slot on the front of the caliper, to push it out and retract the piston. With a flathead screwdriver, we lift the support spring of the pads and remove it. Using a 7mm hex key, we unlock the two guide bushings, then attach a piece of string to a coil of the springs and attach it to the caliper. We remove the pads and clean the support with a wire brush. We apply copper grease to the end of the new pads to prevent squeaking. We place them in position and use a piston retractor, which can be found at Temu with the code 601099522852617 for 9.72 euros (free delivery for purchases of at least 20.00 euros), then we put the calipers back in place, screw the bushings back in, and reassemble the support spring. Now we can put the wheels back on and lower the car.
