This short guide will show us some important instructions necessary to perform a general reset of the engine control unit of the Citroen C4, as well as on most cars. First, we open the car's engine hood and start by disconnecting both battery terminals (positive and negative), using a star or socket wrench. Then, we wait about ten minutes before reconnecting both terminals. This way, we will have disconnected the control unit from the main power supply, effectively performing a proper reset of the control unit!
