Resetting the ECU is often considered a necessary operation, as it allows you to clear the current conditions of the ECU, stored data, and more. One of the simplest yet effective methods is to disconnect the positive and negative terminals of the power battery in the engine bay. In this video, although shown on a different vehicle, the procedure is demonstrated, ensuring to disconnect the negative terminal first, followed by the positive, leaving them disconnected for a few minutes.

Reconnecting should restore everything to normal.
