Deciding to remove the airbags from your vehicle may have valid and serious reasons, whether for restoration, replacement, etc. The tools required are a socket spanner and bodywork levers, along with some manual dexterity. To remove the steering wheel airbag, disconnect the front cover bearing the manufacturer's emblem.

For the dashboard airbag on the passenger side, remove the glove compartment, take off the external covers of the dashboard using the aforementioned lever, and finally pull the airbag out from the footwell area of the front passenger.
