How to use the START&STOP system of the 2023 Dacia Sandero

The START&STOP function on Dacia Sandero vehicles allows to reduce fuel consumption and gas emissions by putting the engine on standby when the vehicle is stopped at a traffic light or in a traffic jam while keeping the vehicle running. To return to the starting function, simply press the accelerator pedal and release the brake pedal. If the vehicle has a manual transmission, we must start the standby mode by putting the transmission in neutral. To activate the vehicle, we must put it in gear and then press the accelerator pedal. If the vehicle has an automatic transmission, simply stop to enter START&STOP mode and press the pedal to deactivate the mode. The START&STOP system does not activate when the battery is low or when reverse gear is engaged.
