The Dacia Logan uses a simple but robust electrical system, shared with Clio II and Sandero: 12V voltage with BSI, engine ECU, and airbag control unit. Complete diagrams are also available in the Haynes workshop manual, which can be found online. The main fuse box is located under the steering wheel, beneath a removable cover, while the secondary box is in the engine compartment near the battery. There are wiring issues that frequently cause problems, such as door connectors that tend to oxidise; the engine RPM sensor often has a damaged wire near the timing belt; the oxygen sensor has a fragile connector near the exhaust manifold.
