How to Reset the Oil Change Reminder on a Dacia Duster from the Instrument Cluster

To reset the oil change reminder on the Dacia Duster, simply use the steering wheel controls and the central display of the instrument cluster. With the car stationary, engage the handbrake and turn on only the ignition, leaving the engine off. The maintenance warning with the spanner icon and a message indicating that the service is due will appear on the display. On the right side of the steering wheel, there are arrow buttons and the OK button: with these controls, you can scroll through the onboard computer screens. Press the down scroll button multiple times until the oil change section appears on the display, identifiable by the engine oil icon and the text indicating the remaining kilometres and months until the next service. When the oil screen is selected, press and hold the OK button for a few seconds. The value shown on the display changes and is reset to the new maintenance interval, for example, 20,000 miles / 12 months, indicating that the reset was successful. At this point, you can release the button, turn off, and turn on the ignition to verify that the maintenance warning no longer appears: the oil change reminder on the Dacia Duster has been correctly reset after the service.
