How to replace the engine oil and oil filter of the Dodge Journey

These simple steps will show us how to perform the routine maintenance check, replacing the engine oil and oil filter, of the Dodge Journey, but also of the Fiat Freemont. First, lift the vehicle and start loosening the oil drain plug found under the engine, letting it drain into a container for about ten minutes; then open the engine hood and unscrew the oil filter using a socket wrench with extension, replacing the cartridge with a new one, as shown in the video. At this point, all that's left is to pour in the new engine oil!
