Operation: Disassembly and replacement of the water pump

Start removing the air box and the air tube by releasing the sealing springs. Then remove the toothed belt. Drain the radiator by acting on the valve, then remove the four pump sealing bolts and extract it from its seat. Carefully clean the pump seat, replace the gasket by applying the special paste that must be resistant to temperature and water between the gasket and the metal part. Reassemble the new pump and install the toothed belt ensuring the correct tension. The strap should have approximately one inch of flexibility. Top up the radiator with the appropriate new coolant. Start the engine and check the water temperature.

How to set the time on the Peugeot 308
