How do you remove the starter motor in a Fiat Ducato 2016?

Start by disconnecting the battery for safety. Then, locate the starter motor: it is located near the gearbox, underneath the vehicle. You may need to lift the van with a jack and place it on stands. Disconnect the electrical cables (make a mark on where they go to make reassembly easier). Unscrew the mounting bolts, being careful because the starter motor is quite heavy. Once removed, check the new starter motor before installing it. Reassemble everything following the steps in reverse, making sure to tighten the bolts and reconnect the battery. Try to start the car; if the engine runs smoothly, it means everything is in order. If not, contact a mechanic.
