How to disassemble the throttle body of a Fiat 500 Sporting

In this video, we see how to disassemble the throttle body of a Fiat 500 Sporting: we start by disconnecting the battery, removing the air filter group by releasing the tubes (oil vapor recovery, intake) and loosening the filter box screws. We then proceed to disconnect the electrical connections of the throttle motor, temperature sensor, and injector connector; disconnect the fuel lines from the fuel supply tube (from the fuel pump) and the return tube to the tank, release the throttle cable by gently pulling the throttle to disconnect the cable. We then disconnect the cooling circuit tubes, remove the fixing screws and carefully remove the throttle body, avoiding damaging the gasket. For cleaning, we use specific solvents for fuels; always replace the gasket between the throttle body and the manifold to prevent air leaks. Check and replace the o-rings of the fuel and water pipes.
