Resetting the oil light on a Fiat 500X

You can manually reset the oil light on a Fiat 500X without going to a workshop or using professional diagnostic equipment. To start, sit in the driver's seat and turn the key to position 1 to switch on the instrument cluster without starting the engine. Now press the accelerator pedal, and while holding it down, press the brake pedal seven times in a row. On the seventh time, hold both the accelerator and brake pedals for 60 seconds, then release both and turn off the cluster. Wait a minute and turn it back on to ensure the reset was successful.
