"Service" or "Change Engine Oil" on Fiat 500 2013

When your 2013 Fiat 500 displays the message "Change Engine Oil" or "Service" in some other version, it indicates that the periodic maintenance, namely the oil change or full service, is nearly due. In the onboard computer menu, you can find the remaining miles since the last oil change or the remaining days. If the engine oil is replaced, the message does not clear itself; you must reset it either through a manual procedure in some earlier versions or with diagnostic equipment. (This procedure is performed by a qualified technician, that is, an authorised mechatronic workshop). The manual procedure is divided into the following steps: 1- Turn on the ignition (position 2 of the ignition switch). 2- Press the accelerator three times, holding it down on the third press for a few seconds. 3- Turn off the ignition. 4- Turn on the ignition and check if the reset has occurred. If the message does not reset, you need to use diagnostic equipment.
