How to Change the Battery on a Fiat 500

Remove the battery from the Fiat 500 and replace it if damaged. Open the car door and pull up the engine compartment release lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard, then lift the front bonnet, disengaging the lock lever with your fingers, and secure it. Once the engine compartment is open, you will find the engine soundproofing panel; remove it. Unscrew the securing screws of the battery terminals, then remove the battery from the engine compartment. Fit a new battery into the engine compartment. Refit the engine soundproofing panel. Test the operation of the car.
