Do we want to remove the airbag and steering wheel on a Freemont? Let's see how the airbag is removed from above the Freemont's steering wheel. We disconnect the battery terminals in the engine compartment. Remove the inspection caps on the rear part of the steering wheel (if present), then unscrew the tightening screws found in the steering wheel (where the airbag is present) with a socket wrench or screwdriver. Once the airbag (driver's side) has been released, disconnect the power supply terminals and extract it from the steering wheel. We unscrew the central screw and remove the steering wheel from above the attached barrel. We mount the new parts of the steering wheel and airbag.
