Instructions for Replacing the Oil Filter

Model: Fiat 500 312 - Years 2007-2024

It is recommended to also replace the engine oil and not just the filter. Once the used oil has been drained through the drain plug, locate the filter cartridge: it is located at the front left of the engine compartment (when viewed from the front) near the windscreen washer filler, just below the air conditioning pipe. To remove the filter cap, you will need a socket wrench or a ratchet with an extension and a universal joint. Once the cap is unscrewed, extract the filter cartridge and apply the new one, also replacing the O-ring seals that are always included in the new filter packaging.

How to Check the Oil Level on a Jeep Renegade?

To check the oil level on a Jeep Renegade, you need to open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay: on the lower left side of the engine block, you will find the dipstick for checking the level. This should be pulled out and thoroughly cleaned with a cloth: once cleaned, reinsert it back into its tube and pull it out immediately after. This way, you can check that the oil mark is between the minimum and maximum levels; finally, you can place the dipstick back in its tube.
