How to Replace the Clutch Pump on a Fiat Punto

Model: Fiat Punto MK 3, Punto EVO, 199, Grandepunto - Years 2005-2018

Before you start, lift the car and remove the front left wheel. Begin by opening the bonnet, disconnecting the battery, and removing it. After removing the battery, you will also need to take out its base. Once done, you will have access to the clutch pump. Next, unscrew and remove the two bolts that secure it to the pedal. Before you can fully extract it, disconnect it from the pedal by releasing the two clips; then you will need to bleed the system. At this point, you will be able to remove the pump from the pedal. After extracting the pump from its housing, slide off the clamp and remove the hose. This will have removed the clutch pump. To install the new pump, simply follow the instructions in reverse, and you will have successfully completed the replacement.
