Fiat Punto - Video tutorial
Model: Fiat Punto
188, MK 2
- Years 1999-2011 Disconnect the negative pole of the battery. Remove the three screws from the air filter and remove it. Unscrew the engine air box screws and disconnect the air hose by removing the clamp. If you do not have the original clamps you can replace it with a traditional hose clamp. Remove the air box and remove the first spark plug cap. At the bottom of the cockpit is the first candle. Before proceeding with disassembly, clean carefully with compressed air. Using the special candle wrench number 16, gently insert it on the head of the candle and unscrew it. Be careful not to let foreign bodies fall into the pit. Replace the spark plug with one of the same model by carefully inserting it into the well and turning it gently, checking that it fits correctly. In case of effort, remove it and try again. The spark plugs must be screwed with a torque wrench, if you do not have the key screwed in without overtightening. Proceed with the same operation with the other candles.
