Replacing Petrol Engine Spark Plugs

Model: Fiat Punto MK 2, 188 - Years 1999-2011

Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery. Remove the three screws from the air filter and take it out. Unscrew the screws from the engine air box and disconnect the air hose by removing the clamp. If you do not have the original clamps, you can replace it with a traditional hose clip. Remove the air box and detach the first spark plug lead. The first spark plug is located at the bottom of the well. Before proceeding with the removal, clean thoroughly with compressed air. Using a 16 mm spark plug socket, gently insert it onto the spark plug head and unscrew it. Be careful not to drop any foreign objects into the well. Replace the spark plug with one of the same model, carefully inserting it into the well and turning it gently to ensure it screws in correctly. If you feel resistance, remove it and retry. The spark plugs should be tightened with a torque wrench; if you do not have one, tighten without overdoing it. Repeat the same process for the other spark plugs.
