In this video, follow the procedure for throttle body self-learning on a Fiat Punto 188, which is one of the simplest cases. After replacing the valve, turn on the ignition, ensuring all devices (air conditioning, headlights, rear window heater, etc.) are switched off; wait a few seconds.

You will hear a "clack" sound coming from the bonnet, and that's it: procedure completed. Let's see in detail how it works with a visual example: when turning on the ignition, the throttle opens, but keep the ignition on for a few seconds: you will hear a background hum and then the throttle will automatically return to its position, calibrating itself.
