Removing the driver's side airbag system, located inside the steering wheel on a 2014 Fiat 500 for maintenance, is simpler than you might think. Simply rotate the steering wheel and position it vertically, then insert a screwdriver or a sufficiently long metal tool into the rear hole to push the lever inside.

Once the tab is pressed, the system will release, allowing you to extract it. During this operation, it is advisable to disconnect the vehicle's battery to prevent the system from accidentally deploying.
