How to replace the clutch of the Ford Focus

Today we will explain how to replace the clutch of the Ford Focus. First, we open the hood and disconnect the battery to avoid damaging the electrical components of the car during the replacement. We lift the car on a scaffolding and remove the plastic panel covering the engine by unscrewing the respective bolts. We remove the front wheels to have a clear view of the lower area of the car. Using a socket wrench, we remove the spindle bolts and then drain the oil from the gearbox into a container. From the gear lever, we remove the clutch components by unscrewing the two bolts that hold it in tension, then remove the clutch disc and insert the new disc. We perform the reverse procedure to tension the clutch and the components previously removed.
