Today, you will learn how to replace the clutch on a Ford Focus. First, open the bonnet and disconnect the battery to avoid damaging the vehicle's electrical components during the replacement.

Lift the car on a ramp and remove the plastic panel covering the engine by unscrewing the respective bolts. Remove the front wheels to gain a clear view of the underside of the vehicle.

Using a socket wrench, remove the hub bolts and drain the oil from the gearbox into a container. Remove the clutch components from the gear lever by unscrewing the two bolts that hold it in tension, then remove the clutch disc and insert the new disc.

Reverse the procedure to re-tension the clutch and reattach the previously removed components.
