Reset procedure on the TCM of a Ford F-250

In this video we can see how to reset the TCM on a Ford F-250: the TCM is the electronic control unit that manages the automatic transmission, determining how and when to change gears based on various factors such as vehicle speed, engine speed, and accelerator position. It may be necessary to reset it after a repair, if the transmission is experiencing issues, or if the TCM is incorrectly adapted to the driver's driving style. Turn off the vehicle, open and close the door to perform a first reset, then turn on the ignition, put it in neutral and turn it off again. Wait 20 seconds while holding down the brake pedal. Now turn it on and put the vehicle in "P" and wait another twenty seconds; then turn it off and quickly turn it back on. Put it in "D". You will hear a "beep" indicating that the reset has been completed. Now take a test drive with light acceleration from 60 to a maximum of 100 km/h. When you stop, perform three sets of gear changes: from neutral to reverse. Wait three seconds, then from neutral to drive, three seconds and then from drive to reverse three seconds and then from reverse to drive. Now you can drive normally.
